About Us

iPhone Photo Video is edited by Veit Irtenkauf and Joe Eisner

Veit Irtenkauf is a photo enthusiast, a tech geek, an equal opportunity user of Macs and PCs, and a writer, whose writings and musings have been published in various blogs (byveit.com, photographygadgets.com, see a list at irtenkauf.com). He specializes in landscape and nature photography as well as shooting panoramas, both with his Canon 5D and an iPhone.  He’s also a webmaster for the Almonte District Improvement Club in Mill Valley, California, for the Grace Charitable Foundation and for the FlyMiwokBlog.  When not geeking around, his professional life is centered around marketing high-technology, including software, semi-conductors and other hardware.  Currently, he is Chief Product Officers for FlyMiwok, an aviation technology startup.

Joe Eisner is an avid amateur photographer, image editor, and award-winning digital abstract artist, whose work has been published in several books and magazines. He shoots pictures with a Nikon D300, thus balancing out Veit and his Canon 5D.  Joe has been using Photoshop since its initial release on the Macintosh (Joe bought a MacIntosh Quadra just so that he could use Photoshop, before its release on Windows some time later), and also now uses LightRoom.  Professionally, Joe has been involved in the technology industry for 20 years, in object-oriented  programming, information management system design,  marketing, strategic investment and corporate business development positions.  His focus areas have included consumer software (image editing, games, productivity, communications, video editing), PC hardware, wearable GPS devices, location-based services, mobile virtual networks, as well as social networking systems and software.  He is currently a business development executive at a large telecommunications software company.
