Anthropics, maker of Portrait Professional, the leading portrait photography retouching application, is offering an older (but still very functional and useful) version of its software for free download. You can see a video of how it works below (some of the features covered in the video may be for versions later than the free version).
Popular Photography Magazine, in its review, said:
“No Photoshop skills required. Results look natural. Interface is intuitive to use. For an inexpensive program, it can really improve your portrait subjects and doesn’t require Adobe Photoshop. The only skill you need is an aesthetic sense to keep you from going overboard with your beautifying. “
Here’s what you have to do:
Go here and enter your e-mail address–it’s in German, but all you have to do is enter your e-mail address; you will receive an authorization code via e-mail [Editor's Note: According to the German email containing the license key, you need to activate your license within 7 days or request a new license key]. Then go here to download the software itself. Then install the software and use the code you receive via e-mail.
