UPS APC Uninterrupted Power supply @ iphonephotovideo.com iphone photo video iPod Touch itouch iCameraAs a follow-up to Joe’s excellent post about storage options that help you to avoid hard drive failure, there is one area that needs additional coverage: Power. To be exact, uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) and how you can use them to ensure that your valuable gear and data will not be harmed in case of power-outs, brown-outs, power spikes or hefty power fluctuations.

mydl.me (Managing Your Digital Life, which is co-hosted by Scott Bourne and Andy Ihnatko who also host a weekly podcast about digital assets and how to manage them) just published my latest article on uninterrupted power supplies. Personally, all my UPS units are from APC – check out their products here.
