Outrageous iPhone 3GS video rigs

iPhone 3GS video rigs @ iphonephotovideo.com iphone photo video iPod Touch itouch icameraWhile Alex Lindsay’s iPhone 3GS (see pixelcorps.tv) setup remains my favorite iPhone 3GS rig, one of our readers pointed out a new and more portable rig that was created by the folks at Qik (which currently relies on a jail-broken iPhone 3GS). Pretty cool – see yourself!

I’m a reader of your blog and enjoy it very much.

I saw mention over the weekend of a video that one of the people at Qik posted. It mostly tries to rally support for Qik getting a legitimate release through the app store rather than be available on only jail-broken phones.

I think the coolest part of the video comes at the 4:20 mark, where they indicate that the entire video, which looks pretty good, was shot on a 3GS with a new accessory rig that Qik is manufacturing and plans to sell. It includes a wide angle lens, some sort of front facing microphone and what looks like an accessory shoe.
