iPhone 3GS auto focus macro 3 megapixel @ iphonephotoshow.com iphone photoApple just announced the iPhone 3GS (the S stands for speed) at WWDC and for photographers, it delivers as rumored. It will feature a new 3 megapixel camera. Autofocus is included, with selectable focus points – simply click on the screen where you want to focus. The new macro mode allows you to focus as close as 10 cm (4 inches). It supports auto white balance settings as well as better low light performance. And video is included as well!

Even better: There’s a separate API for developers, so expect a crop of third party apps to deliver additional photo enhancements! This will be one exiting space to watch…

Plus a slew of additional features, longer battery life, aso.

Price: $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB.

Availability: June 19!

Sweet!
