Patrick Smith photographs landscapes, specializing in seascapes. I first came across him in American Photo magazine, in an article discussing the photographic stars of Flickr. He is one of the most popular photographers on Flickr for a good reason: his seascapes are amazing images and most of them are not mutliple exposures at different EVs that are combined (HDR), but rather are single exposures done using multiple ND grad filters.
